Kinaire Psychology is a safe space, dedicated to supporting women, neurodivergent adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals and those who have experienced trauma. We provide Australia-wide telehealth support and in-person sessions at a small, quiet location in Miami, Gold Coast.

AvailabilityI am available for therapy sessions on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturday mornings.
Booking your first sessionOur first session will be to learn about what has been going on for you & connect to see if our services would be a good fit for your needs.
To book your first session, you can contact us by filling out a form, or go directly to our online calendar, fill out our online intake form and select a time that works for you.
PLEASE NOTEKinaire Psychology is not an acute care or crisis service. If you are currently experiencing significant risk concerns, require urgent support, or your needs exceed the scope of our practice, I may discuss alternative services with you to ensure you receive the most appropriate level of care.
Fees, Rebates & Payments
Individual Therapy (50 Minutes) - $260If using a Medicare rebate, the out-of-pocket fee is $114.75 (medicare rebate is $145.25).
You may be eligible for a rebate or funding to support your sessions.
Individual Therapy (50 Minutes) - Saturdays- $290If using a Medicare rebate, the out-of-pocket fee is $144.75 (medicare rebate is $145.25).
Please note that Saturdays are considered outside of business hours and incur a surcharge due to the high demand. NDIS and WorkCover funding cannot be used for outside-of-hours appointment times.
PaymentsTo book an appointment, a credit card must be provided upon booking for all appointments, regardless of whether a rebate is applied. This will only be utilised for gap fees or in line with our cancellation policy below.
All clients must pay the full fee for the consultation at the end of the session. Once full payment is made, we will process your medicare rebate for you. Please allow up to 3 business days for your rebate to be paid into the bank account you have registered with Medicare.

A General Practitioner can provide a Mental Health Care Plan with a Medicare rebate ($145.25) for up to 10 individual therapy sessions per year. Contact your General Practitioner or click here for more information on Mental Health Care Plans.
You will need to bring your Mental Health Care Plan to your first session, without this, we are unable to process the Medicare rebate.

For those with a valid NDIS plan, your funding may be eligible for psychological services. Fees are in line with the NDIS services for Allied Health Professionals.
NDIS appointments are 60 minutes, inclusive of 10 minutes of administration time.

If you are seeking a rebate outside of the above, please complete an enquiry to discuss if we will be able to support you.
A cancellation policy has been established to ensure services can be provided in a timely manner for all clients.
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.
If 24 hours’ notice is not provided, 100% of the session fee will be charged.
Medicare and insurance rebates cannot be used for non-attendance, so the client must pay the full fee.
NDIS cancellations are handled in line with their policies as stipulated on the Participant's Service Agreement.
Sessions paid for by Third Parties will be billed at 100% of the session fee.
Cancellation fees are not incurred if your appointment time is filled; however, sessions cannot be filled without advance notice (24 hours).
Non-attendance at an appointment without prior notification will result in Kinaire contacting you by telephone, text, or in writing to either reschedule or determine if treatment is still necessary.
This is to protect the provider’s time, not to penalise you financially.

You do not need a referral to work together; however, if you would like to access a Medicare rebate, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll explore what safety looks like for you, and I’ll outline how we can work together at a pace that feels manageable.

The number of sessions can change widely between individuals and depends on the reason you have been seeking therapy, whether any assessments are required and the modality of intervention for your needs.
At Kinaire, we provide short, medium and long term intervention depending on your needs. Our aim is to ensure that you achieve your treatment goals in a timely manner, where you are equipped efficiently for positive, long lasting treatment outcomes.

Legal matters, court-ordered therapy and psychological evaluations/assessments for court require specialised support.
Unfortunately, this is outside our area of scope, and we recommend seeking a psychologist who specialises in forensic or court-specific psychology.

Currently, I am not taking on new child clients for therapy, however I am able to see children for assessments & on-refer for a child psychologist.
