Holistic, trauma-informed & neuro-affirming psychology

Creating mental health resources & psychoeducation tools has been my goal since starting my career in psychology.

I believe that mental health care should be accessible for every journey; which resulted in Kinaire Psychology- a private practice that can provide both individual therapy, and mental health resources.

This platform is my way of sharing what I’ve learned beyond the therapy room

From digital tools, courses, to individual therapy, I’m here to provide resources that are grounded in science and designed to fit into your everyday life.

Hey, I’m Kristy!

Founder, Clinical Psychologist & Researcher

MPsych(Clin), GradDipPsySc, GDipPsych, BA(Psych)

Kristy Gallirhir is the founder and principal Clinical Psychologist at Kinaire Psychology. She is a PhD Candidate, researcher, advocate and speaker.

Kristy has had nearly a decade of supporting people with disabilities, and providing mental health support in both private practice, Non-Government Organisations and community services.

Having lived experience with late-life neurodivergence (she is AuDHD!), Kristy is passionate about exploring identity, self-advocacy, autonomy, and making mental health care accessible. She believes in a trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming practice and is committed to creating a safe space for all.

Kristy uses a blend of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to psychoeducation, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or “tapping”) and somatic regulation tools.

Currently, Kristy is a PhD Candidate at Bond University, researching clinical aftercare for Adults diagnosed with Autism, to create standardised, neuro-affirming practices to support late-diagnosed adults.

When Kristy is not with clients, creating mental health resources, or working on her PhD, she is likely to be hiking, collecting vinyl records, eating ramen, or hanging out with her husky, Koda.
